Development & Testing

• Soul Performance Products took a specialized approach for the 987.2 platform, carefully configuring the sizing of the runners (2″) and collectors to optimize power output from the 3.4L engine while delivering significant gains for the 2.9L variant. Through dyno testing on a Dynojet, they achieved impressive peak gains of 7whp and 8ft-lbs of torque at 4100rpm when combining these headers with their Valved Exhaust system on the SOUL project Cayman S with PDK transmission.

Construction

• Every individual header is meticulously crafted from T304L stainless steel and subjected to thorough in-house quality checks. The design incorporates proven elements such as port matched flanges, primary tubing with smooth radii, and collectors optimized for efficient exhaust flow. These combined features synergistically contribute to achieving maximum power gains.

HJS Catalysts

• Soul Performance Products incorporates the utmost quality catalytic converters, renowned for their industry-leading flow and exceptional durability. These converters demonstrate impressive efficiency, meeting stringent EURO 4 emission standards while enabling increased flow, all without triggering a check engine light. The HD design utilizes premium triple foil winding to ensure optimal strength. Moreover, the inclusion of a brazing stripe as an additional feature enhances durability, preventing core movement or damage even under sustained high horsepower applications. Soul Performance Products deliberately utilizes a generously sized catalyst to facilitate maximum gains, leaving no room for compromises in performance.
