This all-out race exhaust transforms the Z06’s 5.5l V8 exhaust note into a thoroughbred race sound. It introduces a much more authoritative rumble at idle, with the signature X-pipe accentuating a high-pitched wail that, it could be argued, surpasses even that of the Ferrari 458. This system is loud, so it wouldn’t be surprising if it were to wake the neighbors every Sunday morning. However, all this sound and performance enhancement comes with the trade-off of some interior drone. Power

• Combined with the sport cats, a gain of 30whp at 4600rpm and 36ft/lbs at 4600rpm was recorded, equating to a gain of 33hp at the crank. Peak horsepower also rose from a baseline of 640whp to 666whp, and torque from 445ft/lbs to 462ft/lbs.
