Blue Anodized Finish

  • When raw aluminum is left exposed to open air, a thin protective layer forms on its surface, referred to as oxidation. This is analogous to rust, although anodizing takes it further by forming an impenetrable coating of aluminum oxide. This process produces a much sturdier result, rendering the aluminum highly resistant to wear and tear, hence why it is used on racetracks.

“E-Slit” Double Shaving Effect

  • The combination of the elongated slit used to form the curve and theE cutout at the top makes ESlit Rotor strikingly effective. The doubleshaded effect of the long andE slits plays a critical role in preserving the perfect condition of the brake pads. The long slit brings a more delicate touch to the pads while theE slit amplifies the pads braking power. When one can no longer spot the long slit on the rotor side and the capital letterE is nowhere to be seen, it is time to get the rotor replaced.
  • As the brake rotor ages, it is prone to damage caused by rust and corrosion. To ensure proper performance and safety, it is recommended to swap out the brake rotor at least every two years.

Special Heat Treatment Process

  • If a rotor is utilized heavily over an extended time period, its surface can undergo expansions and contractions due to a buildup of heat that can produce small cracks (heat cracks). To address this risk, a pretreatment was applied to reinforce the rotor‘s components, minimizing the possibility of the formation of heat cracks during intense driving. Thus, the rotor‘s longevity has been augmented and it can now be used with more confidence for a greater span of time.
