Racing Big 4 Rear System
- A 4POT caliper kit specifically designed for circuit racing provides better braking power than a standard rear caliper due to its bigger size. When complemented with a 12POT front caliper, the combined front–rear braking setup provides steady and reliable stopping power on all four wheels.
- The caliper body is constructed from forged aluminum, creating a frame that is both strong and lightweight. Additionally, its exceptional thermal resistance allows it to handle strenuous racing and winding roads even if used frequently.
Blue Anodized Finish
- When aluminum is left open to the elements, it gains a layer of oxide that protects it from harm. Similar to rusting, the oxide layer created from anodizing is much harder. This makes it ideal for high–performance settings such as racing, being way more resilient than a paint or powder coat. Anodizing the aluminum creates a hard–wearing finish that can handle hard circumstances.
“E-Slit” Double Shaving Effect
- The E–Slit Rotor boasts a distinctive design, featuring a long curved cut across the face, the instantly recognizable ‘E‘ symbol in the center, and a layer of shading providing a slight braking effect. This innovative cut reinforces the clinging action created from the ‘E‘, which provides a secure grip when the pads are attached. When the slot is completely worn away, leaving nothing more than the ‘E‘ symbol, it is time to replace the rotor with a new one.
- Even with frequent use, the brake rotor can become corroded and rusty over time due to regular use and age. For this reason, it is recommended to switch out the old rotor for a new one at least every two years.
- It is critical to go through a ‘bedding‘ process in order to make sure that circuit–devoted pads are able to perform optimally and resist high temperatures. This entails preheating the pads prior to their use to make them robust enough to handle intense usage and maximize their effectiveness.
- Competitors taking part in top–notch racing events such as SUPER GT, WRC, and certain European circuits are typically supplied with superior quality bedding.
- It is imperative to complete an exact bedding–in procedure before mounting semi–metallic brake pads to make sure the correct temperature is achieved and the longevity of both the rotors and pads is optimized.
How to Bed
- It is important to gradually raise the temperature of the rotor while installing a one–of–a–kind product to between 400–500° C. Rapid changes in temperature should be prevented. Once the product is fitted, the temperature should be decreased to below 100° C, signifying the completion of the process.
The E–Slit rotor has been fabricated with an elongated curved cut, along with four micro E–Slits, to ensure a more efficient reduction in the thickness of the brake pad. This unique formation and the friction of the respective E–Slits keep the brake pad in optimal condition. Crafted with a special carbon composite material, this rotor has been developed by Endless, providing extra stability, protection from heat fractures, and allowing the brake pad to reach the top of its performance capability. The E–Slits have been tailor–made to guarantee a precise thinning of the pad.
Cost Effective, and More On So Many Levels
- An increasing number of drivers and racing teams are turning to endless steel discs as their go–to option because of their price point, their wide array of features, and their outstanding performance. Moreover, the abundance of choices for these discs make them especially attractive.
Special Heat Treatment Process
- As the rotor is used heavily for a long period, it can become worn as a result of the exposure to heat. This could create tiny crevasses, known as heat cracks. To stop this from happening, certain elements of the rotor are put through a special heat–treating process. This strengthens the components, as well as reducing the possibility of heat cracks forming due to a large amount of use. Not only does this heat–treatment process extend the service life of the rotor, but it also gives the user with the peace of mind that come with continued use without fear of heat cracks occurring.
Blue Rotor Hat Finish
- An additional coating of blue paint has been applied to the bell cap to guard it from corrosion and enhance its aesthetic appeal.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well.
For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at [email protected]
